Certling is a UK-based certified translation service created to make official translations simpler, fairer and easier to understand for people applying for visas, citizenship, academic programmes and professional registration.

The service was founded by a translation professional with over 12 years of experience, after identifying widespread over-pricing in certified translation services caused by outdated per-page pricing models and unnecessary formalities.

Why Certling Exists

I used to sell translation services to large financial institutions from a small office in Canterbury. But once or twice a week, someone very different would ring the bell; a visa applicant, a parent, a student chasing their dream.

They didn’t need a corporate contract. They needed a certified translation of a birth certificate, transcript or marriage certificate. And they needed it to be right. The stress was real,one document could decide months or years of effort.

When I looked closer at the certified translation market, I was shocked. Per-page pricing with hidden 250-word limits. Inflated quotes. Surprise extras. Prices no corporate client would ever accept.

So I started Certling.
